I’m not exactly looking forward to the conversation that I’m going to have to have with my mother concerning her placement in a nursing home, but it’s a bridge that’s going to have to be crossed sooner rather than later. Her hip is in incredibly bad shape, and it’s tough for her because she’s battled through so many things. She battled through the loss of her husband very early on in her marriage, and she battled through several family illnesses all around her. She was all ready to battle through this, but her body is deceiving her. I hate spam of all kinds. Email spam and the processed meat kind. I can at least understand that they seemed like a good idea at the time. Someone went hey wouldn’t it be great if but then things got out of hand. Seriously, I know some people love it, but spam, the over salted meat byproduct boiled into a gooey pudding and stuffed into a tin can is hardly ever a good idea. Not to mention sending billions of unwanted digital notices about stuff no one wants or cares about. Both are grave errors in judgment. Making stuff like that gets people mad and mad people do rash things. Things that could get you hurt or worse in long term care. I would not want some psycho to hunt me down and put me in a hospice, knowing that my care giver could find out I invented spam and then take their frustration out on me.
